Which platforms does Costly support?
Costly connects to 15+ data platforms including AWS (21 services), Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, dbt Cloud, Fivetran, Airbyte, OpenAI, GitHub Actions, Looker, Tableau, Monte Carlo, and more. New connectors are added regularly.
Do you store my API keys or credentials?
Yes — but only encrypted. All credentials are encrypted with AES-256 (Fernet) before being written to our database. Plaintext secrets are never logged or stored.
How long does setup take?
Most connectors are live in under 2 minutes. You provide read-only API keys or OAuth credentials, and Costly starts pulling cost data immediately.
Does Costly modify anything in my platforms?
No. Costly is fully read-only across all connectors. When the AI agent recommends an optimization, it shows you exactly what to do — you decide whether to act.
What is the AI cost agent?
The AI agent is a conversational interface that answers questions about your data platform spend in plain English. Ask things like 'Which platform had the biggest cost spike this week?' or 'What's driving our warehouse compute costs up?'
